Metaphysical Interpretations of the Bible

Metaphysics is seldom spoken of as Bible doctrine, however, the idea that there is a spiritual realm that is beyond the physical realm is indicated in many scriptures. The Bible is full of philosophical babble that some scholars take as literal truths. Others look beyond the philosophical to interpret the “spirit” of the scriptures.

The scriptures read and interpreted by a metaphysician is like looking at the Bible in a mirror. The obvious becomes less as the hidden becomes apparent. A person, who reads the Bible and tries to follow and teach the letter of the law, becomes hardened and biased in its interpretation. They stumble over many of the verses that contain metaphysical instructions and meanings.

The metaphysical is that which is beyond the material or physical. Isn’t that what the scriptures are trying to teach? For instance, the scripture found in Matthew chapter 17 verse 20, deals with the mind set of faith: “I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing is impossible for you.” Christ spent his early years learning the importance of how to use our energy body within our daily lives. In his parables and sermons, he tries to teach these concepts to bring joy and healing to people of his own country.

People can only progress as far as they allow their minds to progress. The will of God, metaphysically interpreted, means if you believe, you can create your own reality, becoming co-creators with God. By using the law of attraction, you can experience love, healing and financial comfort, because nothing is impossible.
